Gifts of the Spirit Retreats are retreats that provide participants with a sacred space and an opportunity to explore the depths of who they are. The inherent gifts that lie dormant within each one of ourselves is given the space to find its voice and true expression. All retreats use a variety of different types of healing modalities such as Core and Cellular Transformational Healing (CCTH), sacred dance, meditation, healing breath techniques, qi gong, yoga, shamanic work in nature, and group visualization exercises - to name a few. The location of each retreat is chosen specifically based on the unique qualities and properties of the land and its relationship to nature, Mother Earth, our ancestors and Divine connection.

Embracing Joy and the Stillness Within!
February 20-26, 2012: Casa Grande Mountain Retreat, Puerto Rico - FULL-
Come and join Sherry at a beautiful mountain side retreat center in the heart of Puerto Rico. Here you will be immersed in the energy of the rainforests and majesty of stillness and nature. A truly inspiring setting to dive deeper into connecting with your authentic self. Healing modalities such as CCTH will be offered as well as meditation, healing breath work, sacred dance, tantric exercises and yoga. Also, included with this retreat will be two (optional) separate day excursions. A truly amazing and transformational retreat is in store for all of those that attend!

Details:
February 20 - Arrival in San Juan, Puerto Rico
February 21- pick up at Verdanza Hotel (located near San Juan airport) in the morning; group shuttle bus to take us to Casa Grande Mountain Retreat; arrival in time for lunch; relax for the afternoon and enjoy the amenities at Casa Grande, dinner; evening workshop
February 22-24 - full day programs starting with early morning meditation and healing breath work, yoga, breakfast, free time during the day to enjoy the amenities, which could include a hike, a massage, going for a swim in the pool or enjoying a relaxing siesta in your outdoor hammock; during the afternoon we will spend time doing a CCTH workshop- followed by dinner and an evening workshop of sacred dance, tantric exercises and group meditation or visualization exercises.
February 23 - optional day excursion - experience the thrill of doing several zip lines through the jungle canopy, along with rappelling and a beautiful nature walk! The total length of time for this tour is: 4 hours (cost is additional to retreat and will be weather dependent)
February 25 - shuttle bus will pick us up at Casa Grande after breakfast and take us back to San Juan. During the day you will have the chance to enjoy the afternoon at the local beach, hire a taxi to visit old San Juan and do some shopping or visit the two ancient Spanish Forts there. During the evening we will be going on an evening kayak tour in Bio Bay. This is a once in a life time opportunity to experience a truly unique place on the planet. The start of this kayak tour begins at 7 p.m. and ends with our return to the hotel at midnight. A truly exceptional experience! (optional excursion: additional expense - weather dependent)
February 26 - Departure San Juan
Costs: (based on Canadian funds)
Single occupancy room: $1,240 (+gst) (limited availability)
Double occupancy room: $1,000 (+gst)
-Total costs include: private shuttle bus to and from Casa Grande Mountain Retreat (pick up and drop off in San Juan is the Verdanza hotel) - please note: This shuttle bus operates separate from the hotel Verdanza.

A Call To Nature: A Journey Towards Our Natural Selves - space still available
Imagine being fully immersed in nature and with your natural, inherent self; deepening your connection with all aspects within and having it reflected back at you lovingly supported and nurtured by Mother Nature and those around you. This retreat is designed as a calling back, or return to, the inherent nature within ourselves. Join with others in community and share this radiant and magnificent aspect of your True self. Allow your natural essence to pour through into the sacred space of creation.
It is a time to unlearn all that you have learned. This is an unlearning process that will evolve throughout our week together. To release any aspect of your ego self or mind that has kept you stuck, trapped, stagnate or viewing the world through the eyes of limitation. This week is designed to unlock and dismantle old perceptions of who you think you are so you can step more fully into who you REALLY are and sharing that with others.
During this retreat we will dive deeper into our connection with our own natural, intuitive wisdom and heart using modalities such as: CCTH, meditation, qi gong, shamanic rituals and practices, walking meditations, labyrinths, chanting, creativity exercises, sacred dance and so much more! A palette for the soul is waiting for you. We will end our journey with an amazing fire walking ceremony for you to embrace your revitalized new Self!
This is also a retreat to celebrate and explore your creativity and gifts. There will be time built into the retreat for you to share your own unique gifts with others. If you play a musical instrument -feel free to bring these along or if you paint bring along your art supplies, sketch books, cameras or whatever else you feel inspired to share with others as you dive deeper into your natural heart!

Cliff House Accommodation:
The Cliff House is located away from the main lodge and is nestled in the trees and quite secluded. It is close to the river and in a majestic setting of the trees. It offers two rooms with two bunk beds in each. It is a small and intimate setting for a group of friends who may want to share this space together or for someone who does not mind sharing close space with others.
Costs: For twin bed bunk- $931.04
When you are registering, please indicate your preference of room and/or bed type. I will do my best to accommodate your request, however, keep in mind that your room and/or bed choice may no longer be available and you might incur an additional expense.
